Generals video game night

JACKSON, Tenn — On Saturday, July 9, the Generals are set to have their video game night at the ballpark.

The team will wear special video game themed jerseys, that they will auction off once the game concludes.

The idea came from Nick Hall, the assistant general manager.

“The idea came from a really simple place, and that’s just the fact that I’m a nerd,” Hall said.  “Absolutely love video game and I know a lot of people here in Jackson share that passion so hopefully we’re planning on getting a lot of those people out here.”

They will hand out two Xbox Ones and two PS4’s, each come with games.

Hall would not give a hint as to how fans could take home these items. He said they will need to come to the game in order to find out.
