TWRA stocks Lake Graham with trout for winter fishing
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency dumped more than 1,500 trout into Lake Graham Thursday morning, giving fishermen something to catch during cold months.
“Normally you go fishing for bluegill, bass or catfish, you’re not going to catch those species in the wintertime, and it’s just a way to get out and keep fishing all year,” Warden said.
Warden said the weather doesn’t stop anglers from casting their rods into the cold waters, but does say to wear layers.
“Be sure to bundle up. Come out prepared for the weather and have a good time,” Warden said.
