Cub Scout Adventure Camp will be held in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Boy Scouts of America will host a Cub Scout Adventure Camp this summer in Jackson.

Summer Adventure Camp for Boys will be held June 12-16 at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 119 Oil Well Road, according to a release from the Boy Scouts of America West Tennessee Area Council.

The camp is for boys who will be in grades 1-5 in the fall. It will be held 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The early bird camper fee is $70 if paid by May 15 and includes a meal, t-shirt, patch, insurance, program supplies and fun activities. After May 15, the fee is $85.

The 2017 camp theme is “Bug Hunters.” Planned Activities include outdoor games, field sports (BBs, archery, slingshots), nature programs, scientific demonstrations and more.
