Keli rejoined the ABC 7 Eyewitness News Team in January of 2008 and can be seen week nights on ABC 7 Eyewitness News at 6 & 10.
Before her return home to West Tennessee, Keli's news
career has taken her across the country. While at KCPQ
in Seattle, she reported on events ranging from the 2004
eruption of Mount St. Helens to devastating wildfires to
the deadly shooting at Seattle's Jewish Federation
Building. Keli also worked as a Reporter at KWTV in
Oklahoma City, where she "chased" her fair share of
tornadoes and covered stories from the execution of
Timothy McVeigh to Hurricane Lili to the Shuttle
Columbia tragedy. Keli launched her career right here
at ABC 7 Eyewitness News. After graduating from Union
University, Keli worked as a Reporter and Anchor and
even had the opportunity to follow the Tennessee Titans
all the way to Super Bowl XXXIV.
Throughout her career, Keli has been recognized for her
work on and off air. In 2000, she was selected as an
"Outstanding Young Tennessean" for her philanthropic
work with several West Tennessee children's
organizations. She was acknowledged numerous times for
her volunteer work at the University of Oklahoma's
Children's Hospital and Seattle's Children's Hospital.
She has also been recognized with the "Tennessee School
Bell Award" for outstanding education reporting and by
the Oklahoma Broadcasting Association.
Keli grew up in Ripley,
Mississippi. She makes her home in North Jackson.
