Jackson Police are asking for help in finding those responsible for a shooting a locksmith Wednesday morning while he was working on a car.
 
Investigators said the victim  Troy Mitchell, 44 of Medon  remains in critical condition after he was shot in the face while working in the parking lot of Guardian Courts apartments. They say Mitchell, who owns Mitchell's Lock and Safe on North Highland was replacing a faulty ignition switch on a customer's car around 10, Wednesday morning.  Officers believe he was the target of an apparent robbery. Witnesses told police they saw four black men run across Hollywood Drive just before officers arrived, but are unsure if they are related to the shooting.
