Police Still
Investigating Unsolved Murder

The murder of Jackson
businessman Troy Mitchell is one of three unsolved
violent crimes in Jackson in just the past two weeks.
Police said Valentine Rivera, 41 was the victim of a fatal Saturday night fight. He intervened in the fight at a wedding reception and died after being run over and dragged by a vehicle. He was memorialized at a service at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Friday afternoon.
Jackson Police are
looking for Luis "Alberto" Becerra in connection with
the attack. He is believed to be driving a white 1996
four-door Chevrolet Tahoe with the word "cowboy" printed
on the back.
