On Halloween night, hundreds
of children went out to take advantage of Trunk or Treat
in North Jackson. The annual event is an alternative to
kids going door to door in neighborhoods. Dozens of
vehicles lined up in the parking lot of Calvary Baptist
Church so the children could go trunk to trunk in search
of Halloween goodies.
There was a carnival for
everyone to enjoy, too. Organizers said this year's
Trunk or Treat was even better than last year. The best
part about the event is that it was free to everyone.
All of the candy and carnival games were donated.
