If you have been
anxiously awaiting the chance to get your H1N1 flu
vaccine her in Madison County, here is your chance.
Vaccinations are being given this week at the
Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department
Flu Clinic.
Officials said supplies are limited and encourage you to get your shot as soon as possible. At one point, Monday nearly 150 people were standing in a line that wrapped around the building as they waited their turn to get vaccinated. Many said they feel safer now that they have been vaccinated.
"My son actually had
it a couple of weeks ago and it's just being passed
around school and we're just trying to be sure we
don't get it again in the family", said Alissa
Carlos who received the H1N1 vaccine.
("I'm here) to get
the shot so I won't get the H1N1", said Andre Hunt,
who also waited for the vaccine.
The health department
is primarily offering the nasal spray vaccine, but
it does have a small supply of the shot form of
those who can not have the spray.
