Jackson business leaders are putting their money where their mouths are in the search for Jackson businessman Troy Mitchell's killer.  As of Monday night, the reward sits at $5,000.  Business owners are offering $4,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mitchell's murderer, while Crime Stoppers is adding up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest. Donations can be made to the Troy Mitchell Reward Fund and any Bancorp South branch. Any money not used for the reward will be given to the family.

The 44-year-old locksmith and father of seven sons was shot last Wednesday morning while helping a customer in west Jackson. He died a day later.

If you have any information and would like to claim the reward, call Jackson Police or Crime Stoppers.
