A Weakley County grand jury has indicted the man accused of raping a string of women across West Tennessee. Bruce Tuck, 35, of Gleason is suspected of raping three women in Shelby County and three women in Martin. On Monday, he was indicted in all three Martin rapes.

Tuck faces 22 different charges; six counts of aggravated rape, five counts of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of theft, one count of sexual battery and one count of vandalism.

University of Tennessee at Martin freshman, Raven Chadwick walks the streets Tuck used to roam everyday. "I was carrying two pocket knives at the time. One was in my purse, one I kept on me and I carried mace around my keys," Chadwick said. "Just wondering if I was going to get attacked when I am walking home or when I am on my way to campus."

Martin Police Chief David Moore said this is just one more step in the process to get Tuck off the streets for good. However, local women know they will always have to be on the lookout. "It gave me a bit of closure to hear that, but it still makes me nervous because things like this happen all the time. It is not just him," Chadwick said.

Tuck will be officially charged in court on Thursday, that is when his trial date should be set. He remains in jail without bond.
