Terrance Love, 25 will
be tried on a count of statutory rape by an
authority figure. Love, who was a special education
teacher's assistant was suspended without pay when
the investigation began. In late April, the 17
year-old girl told officers Love had taken her to
his east Jackson home to have sex.
A Madison County grand
jury indicted a South Side High School teaching
assistant, Monday on a charge of raping a student.

Love remains free on
bond.
