A Jackson man entered a plea in connection with a 2007 shooting death in Humboldt. 
 
According to Gibson County Circuit Court , Desmond Ragland, 26, entered a best interest plea, Tuesday to second degree murder charges.  This comes on the same day jury selection was set to begin in his trial. He will now serve 20 years without the possibility of parole for the shooting death of Prentiss Turner, 26. He was shot several times outside the W.J.P. Elk's Lodge in May 2007 in Humboldt.  
 
Chuncy Hollis has already been convicted of first degree murder and is currently serving a life sentence
