Marla Taylor, 43 was
awarded a $15,000 settlement by the city. Sgt.
Taylor alleged she was subjected to crude and
inappropriate remarks, comments and jokes by her
male supervisors.
A year-long sexual
harassment lawsuit filed by a Jackson police officer
against the city is settled after the city council
voted for a pay out.

There are at least
two other sexual harassment complaints pending
against the Jackson Police Department.
