So far there have been no arrests in the Troy Mitchell murder case. The 44-year-old locksmith was working on a car in west Jackson when he was shot in the face during an apparent robbery and died a day later.

A community group has raised more than $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in his murder.  While Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest.

To help in the investigation and collect the $6,000 reward, contact Jackson Police at (731) 425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at (731) 424-8477.
