The government has released
the list of names of people who have unclaimed IRS
refund checks from their 2008 Tax Returns. Leaders say
they tried to contact these people several times and now
hope someone will get in touch with them and inform them
about their unclaimed money.

If your name is on the list,
here is how you claim your money. Go to IRS.gov and
click on the "Where's My Refund?" link. You will be
asked to submit your social security number, filing
status, and amount of refund shown on your 2008 return.
You will then see the status of your refund and be given
instructions on how to resolve the issue.
