A Henry County man is facing an
indictment for a July 4 weekend boat crash on Kentucky Lake
that took the life of a middle Tennessee woman.
According to the Henry County
Circuit Court clerk, David Phelps, 37 for Woodlawn is facing
charges of vehicular homicide, aggravated assault, boating
under the influence and reckless negligent operation of a
motorboat. According to Tennessee Wildlife investigators, on
July 3, Phelps was driving a bass boat that crashed into a
pontoon boat, killing Sandra Adams, 47 of Murfreesboro.
The investigating officer
believes Phelps was drinking and was not paying attention at
the time of the accident.
