The man shot in the neck and shoulder, Wednesday night in east Jackson remains hospitalized in stable condition as officers continue to investigate the motives surrounding the shooting.
Police said they have talked
with a 15-year-old in connection with the shooting outside
of Parkway East Apartments, but did not arrest him. The
victim told officers he was shot during a fight over a cell
phone.
