Two arrests have been made in the murder investigation of  Jackson businessman, Troy Mitchell.

Investigators said they have charged Ameale Hudson, 24 of Jackson and a 15-year-old juvenile with felony murder and especially aggravated robbery. Officers said Hudson lives in the Guardian Courts apartments just off of  Hollywood  Drive, the same location where Mitchell was shot on October 28 while working on a customer's car in the parking lot.

Friday morning, police and agents with the ATF and the FBI served two search warrants at homes near Guardian Courts on Hollywood Drive.  They said they seized 12 firearms as well as a stolen flat screen TV and evidence related to Mitchell's death.  Hudson will be formally charged, Monday morning.

Officers said the juvenile will appear in juvenile court and investigators anticipate having him transferred to adult court. Officers also said even though two arrests have been made their investigation continues and a reward for information in this case has grown to $6,000.  If you can help, call Jackson Police at (731) 425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at (731) 424-8477.
