I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My family is a GM family and moved to Tennessee in 1990 so my father could work at the Saturn Plant in Spring Hill. I've lived in Tennessee almost all of my life. I love the South!

Hobbies/Interest/Community Involvement:
I've truly tried everything throughout my life. As a child I figure skated, danced, and became very involved in 4-H. In middle school I picked up the clarinet and didn't put it down for 13 years. I also became involved in equestrian horse riding. In high school I played volleyball and basketball. I also performed with the Nashville Youth Symphony and received a music scholarship to UT Knoxville where I continued to play with the Pride of the Southland Marching Band and the University of Tennessee Wind Ensemble. Throughout college I volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club. Now I spend most of my free time reading, spending time with friends, and getting to know the Jackson community.

Pets:
Because of the $400 pet deposit where I live I don't have any pets. My parents' house in Spring Hill is home to 4 cats; Nala, Meeko, Kit, Mushi and a hen and her four chicks that showed up in our backyard during the summer months and never left.

I am a huge fan of Dan Brown, I love all his books. Barack Obama's, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance is also a favorite of mine. As far as movies go, I have many favorites; Iron Man, Finding Nemo, The Davinci Code, Anchorman. To be honest I've seen so many I can't think of them all. Going to the movies is a favorite hobby of mine.

I love the outdoors and I think Tennessee is absolutely beautiful. There's nothing like Knoxville in the fall. I really like the southern hospitality too.
