Interesting Assignment:
While working as an intern at WCBD-TV
in Charleston, South Carolina, I had the opportunity to cover a fire
at a Sofa Superstore that killed nine firefighters. It was the
greatest single loss of firefighters in the United States since the
2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. I will never forget the
people I met or the images I saw that night.

"Everyone gets one chance to do something great. Most people never take the chance, either because they're too scared, or they don't recognize it when it spits on their shoes."
