Victoria Taylor

Victoria is an award winning reporter who joins the WBBJ news team after a two-year adventure in The Last Frontier. While she may have spent the last few years shoveling snow and taking photos of moose from her living room window, she’s no stranger to the south. Victoria was born and raised in the mountains of North Georgia.

A proud Hilltopper, Victoria graduated from Western Kentucky’s photojournalism program in 2012. Ten days after graduation she headed north to Alaska to work at the ABC & Fox affiliate in Anchorage. She served as a producer, reporter and fill-in anchor. She has covered everything from the devastating double murder of two Alaska state troopers, to flying above the arctic circle for “Operation Santa” with the armed forces.

As amazing as Alaska was, she still couldn’t shake the charm of the south. Victoria is proud to call Jackson home and can’t wait to tell the stories of West Tennessee.

During her free time, Victoria enjoys cooking and baking (because you can be good at both!) spending time with her pit-Matian, Mötley-Droole, hiking, fishing and rocking out to live music.

Feel free to reach out to her and share your favorite pieces of Jackson with her!
