JCM Hires Football Coach
With less than two weeks until the first day of school, Jackson Central-Merry High School has hired it's new football coach.
The Cougars will be headed up by Jim Glover for the 2008 season. Glover has been in coaching for over 20 years.
Glover said, "I am very honored and very humbled to just play a small part in a school with such a great legacy as Jackson Central-Merry."
Glover also thanked the assistant coaches who have been handling the team over the summer. "Our success that we have this year will be a direct result of your commitment and your efforts."
The Cougars new leader says he is looking forward to improving the teams record from last year's disappointing 2-8 finish. "JCM has always been synonymous with winning and starting today...we are going to return to those winning ways."
