Every year in
prep football a
team that has
been on the
verge, seems to
put it together
and a powerhouse
is born.
This year
the squad who
looks to take on
that role is the
team from
Crockett County.
The Cavaliers
are unbeaten in
the 2009 season
and seem to be
getting stronger
every week.
Led by head
coach P.A.
Pratt, the Cavs
have literally
run through
their schedule
so far this
year, thanks to one
of the best
rushing attacks
in West
Tennessee.
Leading the
charge is
tailback Darius
Bass along with
a potent
offensive line
anchored by
Matthew Spraggins.
Drew Speaker is
the signal
caller for
Crockett County, and
the offense has
been hearing
Speaker loud and
clear.
The Cavaliers
are 7-0 on the
year and look to
keep the good
times rolling
versus Gibson
County this
Friday night on
the Pioneers
home turf.
