Volleyball District Tournaments Wrap Up

Several high school
volleyball district tournaments wrapped up on
Wednesday.
In District 13-AAA,
hosted by North Side, Munford defeated Brighton
in the championship match 3-0 to claim the
district crown. Munford had beaten Hardin County
earlier in the day, and Brighton had knocked off
Dyer County to claim a spot in the final.
At Trinity Christian
Academy for the District 15-A championship,
Madison Academic and TCA met in a possible
state tournament preview.
Madison came away
with the win in a great match, winning 3-2. The
Lady Mustangs defeated Middleton, Wednesday, to
earn a spot in the championship. TCA
defeated Scotts Hill for a trip to the finals.
Region tournament
for volleyball are set to begin next week.
