The Lane
College Dragons fell to 0-7 in 2009
after losing to Morehouse, 35-33, on
homecoming.
Lane led
14-7 at halftime, and 20-14 heading into
the fourth quarter. But Morehouse scored
three touchdowns in the final frame to
take the win.
Quarterback
Dwayne Cross carried the ball 24 times
for 164 yards and three touchdowns, and
threw for 95 yards and two more scores.
Darran Powell caught three passes for 31
yards and a touchdown.
Lane out
gained Morehouse 253 rushing yards to
148, and their 33 points were the most
the team has scored this season.
The Dragons
are on the road next week, in a Friday
night contest, taking on Stillman
College.
