Dudley has been named the TranSouth
Conference pre-season Player of the Year
by conference voters.
The Union
senior was second in the conference in
scoring last season, behind only
teammate Josephine Owino, averaging
16.74 points per game while shooting 53
percent from the field and 43 percent
from behind the three-point line.
Dudley
started all 38 games the Lady Bulldogs
played last season, averaging 28.3
minutes per game, good for second on the
team.
Nine ballots
were cast for the award, and Dudley was
named as the top choice on five.
