The Bethel Wildcats have added
a new piece to their golf
program.
Erica Yarbro, a
senior at Clarksburg High
School, has signed an athletic
scholarship with Bethel
University for the 2010-2011
academic year.
Yarbro is a golfer and softball player and will be given the opportunity to play both sports for the Lady Wildcats. She has twice been named an all-district performer in softball and earned all-district in basketball in 2008-2009.
In her last season Yarbro averaged 42 strokes per nine-hole round. Erica shot an 85 in the eighteen- hole District 13-AA tournament at Winged Foot Golf Course in Union City which earned her a tie for second.
Yarbro will major in elementary education at Bethel.
