the Week

For the week, Truvillion hit 26-of-44 field goals. His lone three-pointer came with four seconds remaining against McKendree and was the game winner.
The Bulldogs are 3-1 on the year and ranked No. 11 in the NAIA Preseason Poll.
Truvillion had some company from West Tennessee as Freed-Hardeman University's Jana Cross walked away with the TranSouth Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The senior from Loretto, Tenn., led the Lions to a 2-0 week. Cross averaged 18.5 points, two assists and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 15-of-23 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line.
In the Lady Lions 68-64 win over Lambuth, Cross scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. The 12 rebounds tied her career high. In the Lions 94-48 win over Spring Hill College, she added 13 points, three assists and nine rebounds.
The Lions are now 4-0 and ranked No. 9 in the NAIA Preseason Poll.
The TranSouth Conference
gave out its first awards

center from Lansing, Mich.,
averaged a double-double for
the week. The reigning TranSouth Player of the Year
had his best game of the
week in a 75-62 win over
Harris-Stowe. He scored 27
and grabbed 14 rebounds
while adding four assists,
two blocks and three
steals.
